WHAT IS XPOSCROLL?
There is a recognized need for an improved scrolling method for review of CT and MRI exams in PACS.
XPOSCROLL is a unique automated scrolling system designed to maximize efficiency and ergonomics while maintaining control and precision. The product is a USB dongle device which converts a standard mouse to one with XPOSCROLL automated scrolling capability. Simple to use, incorporates directly into the scrolling process - no separate device is required, unlike other products in current use such as the Shuttle Pro. This allows the radiologist to maintain focus entirely on the images without distraction. Some free-scrolling frictionless mouse wheels do increase scrolling speed but at the expense of decreased precision, with frequent "overscrolling".
